The European Dog Show 2023 in Herning, Denmark, is a great celebration of dogs with approx. 20.000 dogs attending from all over Europe. Press Accreditation at EDS 2023
In order to be accredited at the EDS, please apply by 12 May 2023 by sending an e-mail to presse@dkk.dk.
Please state your name, contact information and which company or organization you represent.
About 1 week before the show, you will receive an e-mail with instructions about where to fetch your EDS 2023 press card.

Office hours
The press phone is answered daily by the Press Office during normal office hours, which are between 8.00-16.00.

Press area at the venue
Press Area at European Dog Show 2023
At the press area at the exhibition venue in MCH Herning Messecenter, you can find peace of mind and an opportunity to get some work done.
In the press area you have access to complimentary water, coffee, tea and light snacks, as well as access to toilets and access to an outdoors smoking area.
Tables and chairs have been set up for your convenience and of course the event organizer offers the opportunity to log on to the free Wi-Fi. You will receive the password the Wi-Fi along with your press kit at check-in.
No additional equipment will be available for you at the venue so please bring your own, e.g. laptop, photo and editing equipment etc.
Only accredited media will have access to the press area and its facilities.
The press area is located in Hall M.
Press area opening hours:
17 May: 10.00 - 16.00. 18-21 May: 07.00 – 18.00.
The organizers are not responsible for any items left unattended.
Unclaimed items left at the press area will be handed over to the lost and found office on Monday 22 May at 12:00 noon.

Guidelines for photography
Below you will find information about the possibility of photography and video recordings in and around the exhibition area, about drone recordings and limited photo opportunities in the main ring.
Requirements at the venue
Hand held equipment only Do not to block gangways. Cameras, film or recording equipment must be hand held. Monopods and tripods are permitted as long as they do not impede people from viewing the show.
Do not enter the show rings Do not enter a breed or finals ring during any part of the judging or interfere in any way with the judging of the dogs or the running of the show. However, in the breed rings the stewards may ask the judge´s permission for photographs to be taken at the end of the class or when the breed has been judged.
Always ask permission to photograph Do not photograph a dog without consent of the exhibitor and inform the exhibitor of the intended use of such photographs/video and where the obtained material may be published e.g. specific websites and so on.
Drone photography No drones may be operated indoors at the exhibition area. If you wish to obtain permission to launch a photography drone into the air from within the exhibition area, please contact the Press Office for further details. Email: presse@dkk.dk.
Flash photography and additional lighting Filming and flash photography is allowed from outside the rings at all times unless the operation of the camera is actually affecting exhibits. However, if a powerful flash unit is used or it is clear that exhibits are being affected, a ring steward or the judge is empowered to stop such photography.
We ask that you at all times comply with any instructions given by the ring stewards or the main ring stewards.
